Visual Rotor License
Visual Rotor is software, designed by EA7HG, to control your antenna rotor. It requires at least some standard hardware like an Arduino Mega 2560 R3, a USB to TTL, LAN interface, a rotary encoder and a relays board.
Most HAMs like to modify their existing antenna controller, which is very well doable if you have sufficient soldering skills, the required equipment like a suitable soldering station and sufficient knowledge of electronic circuits! Programming the Arduino Mega 2560 does not require Arduino knowledge. The simple software tool “HEX-loader” will help you to upload the software in an easy and fast way. Every step is well documented in the manual of EA7HG
Visual Rotor is no opensource software and it requires a paid license to get it running. The fee for the license has been kept low to stimulate HAMs to use Visual Rotor in their radio shack and on the other hand to be able to keep the development of future features alive. The license is personal but will work on as many controllers you have running.
If you buy Visual Rotor software, we need your email address as well as your callsign, SWL-number or name to be able to assign the license to you. As soon as we receive your payment you will receive an email in which we will ask you to supply us the required information. As soon as we receive this information, you will receive an email from us within 2 working days. This email will contain some files that contain your license as well as the installation instructions. Make sure that our email address is not blacklisted or blocked.
